"some questions for" - Marina at MD Management

Marina (1.75m)is one of MD'S (based in Hamburg) New Faces. She just start modeling and got the perfect body to hit something! Just read what the super newbie can tell us about her life :)

Mode-und-Lifestyle:So you are brand new in the business, how do you fell about it? Do you like it so far?
Marina:Yes, I really love modeling. I like getting dressed and acting as different characters in front of the camera. But I also hope that I get the chance to travel soon.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Have you ever thought about becoming a model? Marina:I already loved being photographed when I was a child.
Besides I've liked to dress up making myself pretty and
acting in front of the mirror.
Actually i always wanted to become a ballet dancer.
After the 10th class I decided to quit school for becoming a professional ballet dancer. I have started to study ballet but after 3 years my plans have changed and now I’m on the way to do my school leaving examination.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: How did you start ?
Marina:My friends always told me I have potential for beeing a model.
So I decited to look out for some model agencies and finally I went to MD Management.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Is there any supermodel you look up to?
Marina:Yes of cause, there are a couple of models I really like, for example Natalia Vodianova, Julia Stegner, Edita Vilkeviciute and Cindy Crawford.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: What do your friends and family say about your first steps in the modelindustry?
Marina:My dad wasn’t really sure about it however my mother and my friends liked it from the beginning and all were very excited.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Are there any big planes made for the next months, for example a trip to another country?Which place would you love to visit?
Marina:Currently I don’t have any plan what to do next. But I would really like to travel a bit in my free time (holidays). I would love to visit Paris, Milano and New York!

Mode-und-Lifestyle:How was your first shooting? Have you beennervous?
Marina:My first shooting was ok. I was really nervous and therefore I acted a bit stiff in front of the camera. However the photographer liked my body consciousness which i gained by dancing 10 years ballet.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: How would be your "dream location" for the perfect shoot?
Marina:My dream location would be at the beach/the sea or at some other beautiful places in the world.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Whats the best thing in the modelingindustry, in your opinion?
Marina:Modeling is an exciting, inspiring and creative job. You should be disciplined and you need a lot of body consciousness.
As a model you can travel a lot so you gain more and more experiences. Besides you get to know new people.
Furthermore modeling is very varied and you never get bored.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Whos your favorite deisgner? (if you have one)
Marina:Honestly, I don’t have a favourite Designer. There are so many I really adore, for example Prada, Calvin Klein or Balmain.

Mode-und-Lifestyle: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Marina:Oh that’s a difficult question...Hopefully I’m going to have a nice job I really like. The most important thing however is beeing happy and healthy.
